Indische Flohsamenschalen

Psyllium (43 %)
Psyllium may look a bit like fleas but otherwise have nothing to do with them. They are the seeds of the Indian plantain. They mainly consist of soluble fiber, which have a slime-forming function. You can bind a large amount of water per se and thereby increase the intestinal contents. Psyllium husks that are ground as fine powder are particularly efficient.

Chia seeds (20%)
The chia seed was already appreciated by the Aztecs because of its versatile benefits. It is a source of high quality Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids in the optimal ratio 3: 1. High quality protein and many vitamins and minerals make it also a valuable source of nutrients. Chia seeds are cholesterol- and gluten-free.

Linseed (10%)
Flax seeds are small, oval-shaped seeds of the flax plant. They taste nutty and are among the most concentrated vegetable omega-3 sources. They contain 50 to 60 percent of this precious fat. Furthermore flaxseed deliver a wide range of important nutrients such as antioxidants, B vitamins, fiber, protein, potassium and a group of phytoestrogens, called lignans.

Turmeric (10%)
The main active ingredient in turmeric is the antioxidant curcumin. Turmeric is also beset with a complex nutrient density: It provides important proteins and a lot of important vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), choline, vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin K. The home of the turmeric plant is located in Southeast Asia, where it has been known for about 4,000 years. In India the spice has long been considered sacred.

Fennel is rich in vitamins: A tuber is more vitamin C than an orange. Also vitamin A, calcium, iron and phosphorus are abundant. In medicine, the mature fennel bulb and the cortex of the Bitter fennel are used. This rich essential oil consists of 70 percent of anethole and fenchon. The anethole ensures a sweet taste of fennel. The slightly bitter fennel is due to the fenchon which i.a. is intended to counteract the growth of fungi and bacteria.

Anise (5%)
Its aromatic flavor has made anise as a spice very popular. In century old tradition it is also used for medicinal purposes. 2-6 percent of the ingredients of aniseed are essential oils, mainly trans-anethole as taste and odor carrier. Other ingredients include anisic acid, flavone and flavonol glycosides, fatty oil, various natural sugars and small amounts of terpenes.

Prickly pear (1%)
The prickly pear cactus (nopal) is native to Mexico and has always been considered an an important supplier of essential micronutrients. You find a combination of high concentrations of vitamins A, B1, B2 and C, as well as the trace elements potassium, calcium, phosphorus, sodium and iron, as well as flavonoids and beta-sitosterol in it. Nopal also has a high content of fibres. Since the days of the Mayas and Aztecs it is estimated as a tasty food in Mexico.
Grüner Kaffee

Green coffee (1%)
Green coffee is nothing but raw coffee beans that have not been roasted. The coffee plants are evergreen bushes, which have both white, fragrant flowers as well as small, bright-red fruits. One fruit contains two seeds, the coffee beans. Before roasting they have a green color and are rich in chlorogenic acid, an antioxidant. In addition, the green coffee beans contain valuable vitamins E and C, as well as iron, calcium and selenium.
